I’m already a big Temple Spa fan, the cleansing balm has been in my skincare routine for a while now and I still love it. I’ve collected a fair few miniatures recently, and I love them as an opportunity to try new products without the investment.
Here are some of my Temple Spa hits and misses.
Temple Spa Repose – Aromatherapy Relaxing Night Cream
HIT – So much so that on using it I automatically ordered a bigger jar. The smell of Repose* is amazing. It’s very strong on the lavender and herbs, so if that’s not your thing, you might not enjoy it quite so much, but for me, it’s a lovely evening treat.
I totally get why it’s a night cream, it’s very heavy, and because it’s so scented you probably don’t want to be wearing it out and about, not to mention the lack of SPF. But on days when my skin feels thirsty, I do occasionally use this and it sorts out any dry patches pretty well.
The cost is £40 for 50ml which I think is reasonable. My current jar has lasted me several months so far as you only need a small amount.

Temple Spa – BeCalm Face Mask for Sensitive Skin
MISS – It’s not awful by any means, I just think there are better face masks out there. The Trufflesque* for example. For me, this one is just a bit underwhelming, in both the texture and the results. It claims to reduce redness and hydrate skin, but I didn’t feel it did either for me.
It’s £28 for 65ml so very reasonable I just don’t feel it lived up to some of it’s claims.

Temple Spa – AAAHHH! Smoothing Balm for Feet & Limbs
HIT – I usually struggle with foot creams as I’m not keen on the sticky feel you get afterwards. This one however is more of a gel and it sinks in really quickly.
There’s a very strong peppermint scent to this, which also gives you a nice “chilled” feeling when you put it on.
This was another miniature that I went and bought a larger version of. It’s £20 for 150ml and after 6 months I’m about two-thirds of the way through it, so it lasts a long while.

Temple Spa – Exalt Neck Firming Cream Gel
MISS – I feel like this one has a bit of an identity crisis, it can’t decide if it’s a cream or a gel. Personally, for me, I would say “Gel”.
This certainly feels like it’s hydrating, which for me can only be a good thing. My issue with it is that I’m not keen on the scent of this, it’s just not for me. Looking at the ingredients list, I couldn’t even tell you which one it is that I’m not keen on, I’m just not.
