Phoenix Descending – Dorothy Dreyer | Book Review*

Afamiliar storyline to fans of fantasy YA but with enough differences and pace to make it an enjoyable and exciting read. It certainly got me out of my slump!

Origin – Dan Brown | Book Review

I loved the topic covered, In Origin yet again Dan Brown has focused in on a subject that is VERY relevant in today’s media and taken it a stage further, adding an element of the sinister in there for good measure.

The Girl in the Tower -Katherine Arden| Book Review*

The PACE! It could be slow at times but The Girl in the Tower kept up a steady pace from the off. Coupled with the gradual building of suspense there were times when I couldn’t put it down.

The Dressmaker’s Secret – Charlotte Betts | Book Review*

An enjoyable and light-hearted page turner that I really enjoyed whilst on our Italian Adventure.

Dating the It Guy – Krysten Lindsay Hager | Book Review*

Overall I enjoyed the book, it’s not a genre I would usually pick up and I don’t think I will in the near future, but saying that the story was entertaining and enjoyable and I am glad I had the opportunity to try it.

One of Us Is Lying – Karen M. McManus | Book Review

It’s like a Dan Brown novel for YA readers, a mystery/thriller that keeps you guessing right to the very end, and whether you guessed right or not, you won’t really care as the ride it so enjoyable.

The Duke’s Temptation – Raven McAllan | Book Review*

The Duke’s Temptation was fresh and completely different from anything I’ve read recently and certainly lived up to the synopsis.

This Savage Song – Victoria Schwab | Book Review

This being my first VE Schwab novel I wasn’t sure what to expect, although I had very high expectations for the novel and knew I was in for a treat.
