Our Dark Duet – V.E. Schwab
A great final book. I loved the quirkiness of the series, it made a refreshing change from many of the “me too” YA novels I’ve picked up recently. A great book to bring you out of a reading slump and back in the game!

I loved the writing style in Wonder Woman: Warbringer just as much as I thought I would. Regardless of the subject matter Leigh Bardugo was able to create a wonderful narrative that I wanted to immerse myself in.
A great second book that ended with such a shocking twist it took me a few weeks and a severe reading slump to get over it. I cannot wait to see how the story progresses in Queen of Air and Darkness.
Afamiliar storyline to fans of fantasy YA but with enough differences and pace to make it an enjoyable and exciting read. It certainly got me out of my slump!
I loved the topic covered, In Origin yet again Dan Brown has focused in on a subject that is VERY relevant in today’s media and taken it a stage further, adding an element of the sinister in there for good measure.
The PACE! It could be slow at times but The Girl in the Tower kept up a steady pace from the off. Coupled with the gradual building of suspense there were times when I couldn’t put it down.
An enjoyable and light-hearted page turner that I really enjoyed whilst on our Italian Adventure.
Overall I enjoyed the book, it’s not a genre I would usually pick up and I don’t think I will in the near future, but saying that the story was entertaining and enjoyable and I am glad I had the opportunity to try it.
